Track your job applications with txtcv

Published on February 22, 2026

Job hunting is already stressful enough without trying to remember which companies you've applied to, where you are in each process, and when your next interview is scheduled. That's why, txtcv now includes a built-in job application tracker to help you stay organized throughout your job search.

A kanban board for your job search

The new job application tracker uses a kanban-style board that visualizes your entire job search pipeline at a glance. Applications move through seven distinct stages:

  1. Pending — Jobs you're considering or preparing to apply for
  2. Applied — Applications you've submitted
  3. Interviewing — Active interview processes
  4. Offer — Offers you've received
  5. Accepted — Jobs you've accepted
  6. Rejected — Applications that didn't move forward
  7. Declined — Offers you've turned down

Each column displays a count of applications in that stage, so you can immediately see how many active opportunities you're managing. Add new applications directly to any stage with a single click.

Track what matters

For each job application, you can capture the details that help you make informed decisions:

  • Company and Job Title — The basics, always visible on your board
  • Job description — Keep the full posting for reference
  • URL — Link directly to the job posting or company careers page
  • Salary range — Track minimum and maximum compensation in multiple currencies (EUR, USD, CAD, GBP, INR)
  • Work location — Filter opportunities by on-site, hybrid, or remote arrangements
  • Personal notes — Record your thoughts, research, or follow-up tasks

Built for your workflow

Like everything else in txtcv, the job application tracker is designed with developers in mind. The interface is clean and functional, letting you focus on your job search rather than fighting with a complicated tool. Your data stays organized and accessible, ready when you need to reference a company you spoke with months ago or prepare for a final round interview.

Getting started

The job application tracker is available now for all txtcv users on the paid subscription plan. Click on "Job Applications" from the main navigation bar to start organizing your job search. Whether you're casually browsing opportunities or actively interviewing at multiple companies, having everything in one place makes the entire process less chaotic.

As always, if you have feedback or suggestions for improving the tracker, I'd love to hear from you on Bluesky.
